<p>Carriers. Delay in carriage of freight. Excuse. Unexpectedly large crops.</p> <p>A carrier’s delay in the shipment of cotton, caused by its inability to provide necessary cars for the carriage of an unprecedented crop, is excusable if it took pains to move the cotton as promptly ■as it could and the shipper knew the situation when he delivered the shipment for transportation.</p>
