Syllabus

<p>Damages. Proximate and remote.</p> <p>Where half of a car load of staves piled along the right of way for shipment was burned by a railroad, the owner could not recover for the half not burned where it was not shown that the burned staves could not be replaced, nor that the plaintiff could not have realized on the unburned staves if loaded and shipped as a half car load or otherwise disposed of.</p>
