Syllabus

The trial court properly dismissed on summary judgment appellant-homeowner's counterclaims under the Home Construction Service Suppliers Act (\HCSSA\) against appellee-contractor. Appellant contracted with appellee for home remodeling, and at the time of their contract, the HCSSA applied only to contracts for new home construction, not repairs, remodels, or renovations. Judgment affirmed.
