Code 1893, (j 4242.</p> <p>An official • stenographer, attending the opening of a term of the circuit court, and ready to perform his official duties, is entitled, under Code 1892, § 4242, regulating the subject, to one week’s salary where the term was thereafter pretermitted, although the trial of no case was begun.</p>
