Syllabus

<p>1. Land certificate — Constructive notice.— A purchaser for value, from, or under a patentee, is not chargeable with constructive notice of latent defects in the transfer of the certificate upon which the patent issued, when there is nothing upon the face of the patent which would put a prudent man on such inquiry as would lead to notice of such defects.</p>
