<p>Mandamus—Peremptory Writ—Failure of Eecord to Show Service.—Alternative mandamus was issued by the chief justice, returnable before Department 2 of this court. On application to the court in bank for a peremptory writ, the record showed no evidence of service on respondent, and no return by him. Held, that the application must be denied.</p>
