<p>SYLLABUS BY THE COURT.</p> <p>Taxation — Registration Fees for Real-estate Mortgages — Statute Unconstitutional. Chapter 250 of the Laws of 1915, entitled, “An Act relating to registration fees for, and taxation of, real estate mortgages,” contravenes section 1 of article 11 of the constitution, requiring a uniform and equal rate of assessment and taxation, and consequently is void.</p>
