Syllabus

<p>Equity—Foreign defendant—Service of process—Jurisdiction—Parties— Act of April 6, 1859, P. L. 387.</p> <p>Where a bill in equity for discovery and account against a domestic and a foreign corporation is served on the foreign corporation in the state of its domicile by virtue of an order of court made under the provisions of the Act of April 6, 1859, P. L. 387, the service on the foreign corporation will be set aside. The act is ineffectual to render valid such extraterritorial service of process in proceedings in personam.</p>
