<p>Boroughs — Townships—Annexation of territory — Adjustment of indebtedness — Acts of May 1,1861, P. L. 689, April 18,1866, P. L. 109, and March 81,1907, P. L. 86.</p> <p>1. Where a portion of a township has been annexed to a borough under the Act of March 21, 1907, P. L. 25, a court of equity has jurisdiction under the Acts of May 1, 1861, P. L. 539, and April 12, 1866, P. L. 109, to adjust the indebtedness of the township so as to impose upon the borough a liability for the proportionate share of the territory of the township annexed.</p> <p>2. If in such a case no assessment of the property of the township has been made for the current year, the court may accept the assessment of the previous year as evidence of the valuation of the two sections of the township.</p>
