<p>Syllabus.</p> <p>1. In this action, brought to recover damages for publishing a dispatch intended originally to be complimentary, changed by mistake in its transmission by the substituting of the word “colored” for “cultured,” small amount of damages is allowed.</p> <p>2. The publication was not, in so far as defendant is concerned, prompted by malice, nor was it the result of negligence. Due retraction and, apology were made within reasonable time.</p> <p>3. There was a cause of action, and to the extent of the injury the action is sustained.</p>
