The trial court erred in determining that a contractually agreed upon one-year statute of limitations in an employment agreement controlled the statute of limitations on plaintiff's employment-discrimination claim, where that determination could not be made absent the court first making a threshold determination about choice of law — that is whether Michigan or Ohio law applied to the substantive employment-discrimination claim.
