Appellant was deprived of his right to jury trial where (1) dialogue with court reflected that new date for jury trial would be scheduled if plea agreement was not reached by date of previously-scheduled trial and (2) written jury demand, purportedly withdrawn by defense counsel, was not properly withdrawn under R.C. 2945.05. Reversal and remand required.
