Syllabus

<p>Reversals — Weight of evidence — Power to modify or enter final judgment — Remittitur—Section 6, Article IV, Constitution, igi2 — Section 11364, General Code.</p> <p>A reviewing court, upon finding that the verdict of a jury assessing damages for personal injury is such in amount that it is not supported by the weight of the evidence, and therefore excessive, may remand the cause for a new trial, but is not authorized upon such ground to modify the judgment.</p>
