<p>Negligence — Municipalities—Hole in pavement of street — Contributory negligence.</p> <p>Where a woman in attempting to cross a public street of a city diagonally, and not at a regular crossing, steps into a hole in the pavement and is injured,' she cannot recover damages from the city, if it appears from her own testimony that she walked into the hole while looking ahead, and not looking at the pavement, and that, although it was twilight, she could have seen the hole if she had looked down.</p>
