<p>SYLLABUS BY THE COURT.</p> <p>Chattel Mortgage — Place of Piling- — Construction of Statute. Where a mortgagor of personal property is a resident of this state, the mortgagee has the alternative of depositing his' mortgage either in the office of the register of deeds in the county where the mortgaged property shall be situated or in the county of which the mortgagor shall at the time be a resident.</p>
