<p>Shipping (§ 141*) — Delay in Dischaeging Caego — Liability op Vessel.</p> <p>Delay in discharging cargo and consequent damage. A general strike of longshoremen in New York prevented the timely discharge of a shipment of onions from Hull, England. A strike clause in the bill of lading provided that the ship should not be responsible for strikes and stoppage of labor. Held that the clause constituted a defense.</p> <p>[Ed.
