Syllabus
<p>Bill of exchange—presentment necessary to hold drawer. In a suit by the indorsee or holder of an inland bill of exchange or draft, against the drawer, who is also the indorser, no recovery can he had without proof of presentment to the drawee, or of facts constituting an excuse for not presenting the same.</p>
