Syllabus

Trial court erred by granting summary judgment on counterclaim for legal malpractice, where counterclaim defendant provided only a summary affidavit in support of his motion for summary judgment and failed to specifically that his representation met the standard of care. Summary judgment on claims for action on account, breach of contract, or quantum meruit was improper where trial court failed to consider whether counterclaim for legal malpractice precluded summary judgment on those claims.
