Syllabus
<p>Contract—Public Policy.</p> <p>An agreement to procure the consent of property owners for the construction and maintenance of a trolley line in front of their properties, and also to obtain a municipal franchise to operate such trolley line for a fee contingent upon success, held to be contrary to public policy, and void, and that no part of the stipulated compensation can be recovered.</p> <p>[Ed.
