<p>[To be reported.]</p> <p>1. The owner of swine, who permits them to run at large without rings and yokes, in violation of the provisions of the act of 1705, 1 Sm. L. 70, is liable in an action of trespass for depredations committed by them upon the enclosure of another, irrespective of the character of the fences surrounding such enclosure.</p> <p>2. The act of March 27, 1784, 2 Sm. L. 96, for the regulation of fences and the encouragement of the raising of swine in the counties of Bedford, Northumberland, Westmoreland, Washington and Fayette, was totally repealed by § 2, act of April 11, 1862, P. L. 496, and is no longer operative within the state.</p>
