Syllabus

Trial court did not commit plain error by applying current sentencing law instead of the law in effect at the time the offense occurred. Application of amended statute to appellant was not an ex post facto violation trial court did not err by retaining jurisdiction. Appellant failed to demonstrate he received ineffective assistance of counsel because there was not a reasonable probability the result of the trial would have been different but for counsel's failure to raise the issues.
