Syllabus
The trial court did not err in failing suppress evidence that was obtained during Appellant's encounter with police. Appellant was not unlawfully detained during the encounter and was subject to a lawful pat-down search that was based on a reasonable, articulable belief that Appellant was armed and dangerous. The subsequent search of Appellant's vehicle was also lawful because the investigating officers had probable cause to believe the vehicle contained contraband. Judgment affirmed.
