Syllabus

The trial court did not abuse its discretion by calling defendant-appellant's ex-wife as a court's witness under Evid.R. 614(A). The trial court did not commit plain error by admitting video footage of defendant-appellant's son identifying him as the perpetrator of the crime. The trial court did not deprive defendant-appellant of his right to present a complete defense. Defendant-appellant's convictions are supported by sufficient evidence. Defendant-appellant's convictions are not against the manifest weight of the evidence. Defendant-appellant failed to demonstrate that he received ineffective assistance of counsel.
