The trial court properly denied appellant's motion to dismiss the indictment. Appellant was required to register under R.C. 2950.04(A)(1)(a) because, contrary to his assertion, he had not completed his prison term before July 1, 1997. His prison sentence had been resumed when he returned to prison for parole violations.
