State v. Hipps

Syllabus

Conviction and sentence affirmed. Trial court did not abuse its discretion by denying motion for mistrial because of hearsay evidence, because appellant failed to show that a fair trial was no longer possible. To the extent appellant argued the evidence was improper character evidence, that argument was not raised before the trial court and therefore was not considered on appeal. Jury's verdicts were not based on insufficient evidence or against the manifest weight of the evidence.
