Syllabus

The trial court did not abuse its discretion by permitting a doctor to testify regarding the possible cause of one of the two victim's injuries rather than a probable cause of the victim's injuries since expert witnesses in criminal cases can testify in terms of possibility rather than in terms of a reasonable scientific certainty or probability. Appellant also did not receive ineffective assistance of counsel where counsel's decision whether to object to certain testimony was trial strategy that did not impact appellant's conviction given the overwhelming evidence of his guilt.
