Syllabus

The defendant, Anton Liverpool (defendant or Mr. Liverpool), appealed from a judgment of conviction following a hearing at which a justice of the Superior Court found that he violated the terms and conditions of his probation. On appeal, Mr. Liverpool argues that the trial justice erred: (1) in admitting video footage that lacked the required foundation in violation of the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution and (2) in relying on a suggestive show-up identification conducted by the Providence police. <br><br>The Supreme Court concluded that the trial justice properly determined that Mr. Liverpool violated the terms of his probation and affirmed the judgment of the Superior Court. <br><br><br>
