Appellant's sentence was not contrary to law where the trial court sentenced appellant within the statutory range, considered the necessary statutory requirements, and advised appellant of postrelease control sanctions. The sentence was supported by the record where appellant showed no remorse for perpetrating a violent sexual act against his close friend who he knew had been scarred by a previous sexual assault.
