The Defendant, Joshua Cortez Moten, was convicted by a Madison County Circuit Courtjury of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a Class B felony; evading arrest in amotor vehicle, a Class D felony; and possession of ANPP, a Schedule II controlledsubstance, a Class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced by the trial court to an effectiveterm of nine years at 85% in the Tennessee Department of Correction. On appeal, theDefendant argues that the trial court abused its discretion by denying alternativesentencing. We affirm the judgments of the trial court.
