Defendant, Jonathan Ellerbasch, Alias, pleaded guilty in the Knox County Criminal Courtto aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. Following a sentencing hearing, the trialcourt imposed a sentence of three years to be served in the Department of Correction. Onappeal, Defendant contends that the trial court abused its discretion by denying analternative sentence and in ordering a sentence of confinement. Following a thoroughreview, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
