<p>SYLLABUS BY THE COURT.</p> <p>Municipal Corporations — Eight-hour Labor Law. Section 1 of chapter 114 of the Laws of 1891 (Gen. Stat. 1909, §4643), providing that eight hours shall constitute a day’s work for all laborers, workmen, mechanics or other persons employed on behalf of any city of the state, applies to the engineers and firemen who operate the water and electric-light plant of the city of Ottawa.</p>
