<p>'Salaries of county surveyors — Act of April 25,1904, empowering common pleas judges — To fix said salaries — Repugnant to section 20 of article 2 of constitution — Constitutional law.</p> <p>The act of April 25, 1904 (97 O. L., 313, 314), entitled “An act fixing the salaries of the county surveyors in various counties of the state,” is repugnant to section 20, article 2, of the constitution of Ohio, because the power conferred and the duty imposed by said act upon the judges of the court of common pleas, to fix the salaries or compensation of county surveyors, is purely a legislative power and duty and cannot be delegated. Said act is therefore unconstitutional and void.</p>
