<p>Appeal — Decisions Reviewable — Cessation oe Conteovebsy— Dismissal. A cause pending in tbe supreme court, arising under a certain city ordinance, will not be dismissed on the ground of cessation of tbe controversy by reason of tbe fact that tbe ordinance has been amended in certain particulars or reenacted, when tbe changes made are irrelevant to tbe issues presented in tbe pending case and tbe subject-matter of tbe suit is in no way destroyed or modified by tbe amendatory ordinances.</p>
