<p>1. Evidence: proop op handwriting. An expert witness may be permitted to give his opinion concerning the genuineness of a writ-' ing by comparing it with other writings in tbe case admitted to be genuine, and in such case tbe two papers may be submitted to tbe jury and compared by them without tbe aid of experts.</p> <p>8. -: -. An expert witness will not be allowed to give his opinion of the genuineness of a note sued on, by comparing it with tbe signature of tbe defendant to bis plea of non est factum, where the witness has never seen tbe defendant write.</p>
