<p>Boundaries—Government Plat — Conclusiveness.—There is no provision in Revised Statutes of the United States, sections 2395, 2396, 2397 (U. S. Gomp. Stats. 1901, pp. 1471-1473), relating to the rules to be followed where corners have been lost, or in. the circular of instructions approved by the Secretary of the Interior October 16, 1896 (23 Land Dec. Dep. Int. 361), relating to lost or obliterated corners, for a proportionate measurement based on the deficiency in acreage of adjoining parcels of land, and, where there is no question as to the establishment of a lost corner, the exact boundaries as shown on the government plat must prevail, and they will control a further description by quantity.</p>
