<p>Railroads. Highway crossings. Signals. Oo&e 1906, § 4045.</p> <p>Where a railroad company failed to give either of the statutory signals, Code 1906, § 4045, requiring the ringing of a bell or the blowing of a whistle, as its train approached a highway crossing and ran the train suddenly around a curve in its track so near a team of horses, driven by plaintiff on the highway, as to frighten them and make them unmanageable, resulting in a collision on the crossing and injury to them and the wagon to which they were hitched, the company is liable for damages.</p>
