<p>Will — Legacies—Interest—Annuity—Trusts and trustees.</p> <p>The rule that interest does not begin to run on a legacy until a year after the testator’s death, does not apply, where a testator has stood in loco parentis to a grandniece by supporting and maintaining her for several years prior to his death, and where he has given a legacy to a trustee to pay to the grandniece the net income therefrom quarterly during her minority, and at age the principal, and the testator names the same person to act as trustee and guardian of the legatee.</p> <p>A person in loco parentis to a child, is a person who means to put himself in the situation of a lawful father of the child with reference to the father’s office and duty of making provision for the child.</p>
