Syllabus

<p>1. Time—rule for computing. Where an act is required to he performed within a specified time from a day named, the rule for computing the time is to exclude the day from which the time commences to run, and include the day on which the act is to he performed.</p> <p>3. Same—when redemption from sale on execution may be made. Where a statute provides that redemption from a sale may be made within twelve months, and a sale is made on the ninth day of a month, a redemption may be made on the ninth day of the same month of the next year.</p> <p>8. Redemption—to whom money mwy be paid. Where the owner of land which has been sold on execution, within the time allowed by law for redemption, leaves the redemption money, for the purpose of making redemption, with a person named by the officer who made the sale, and by his direction, it is the same as if the money had been paid directly to such officer, and operates as a redemption.</p>
