Syllabus

<p>1. Corporations. Slander. Liability. Agents.</p> <p>A corporation is liable for slander uttered by its agent acting within the scope of his employment and in the performance of his duties touching the matter in question.</p> <p>2. Same. Knowledge. Approval. Ratification.</p> <p>In such case it is unnecessary for a plaintiff to show that the slanderous words were spoken with defendant’s knowledge or with its approval or that it ratified the act of the agent.</p>
