<p>Banks and banking — Error in crediting deposits — Bank's responsibility.</p> <p>A bank, where a depositor has several open accounts, cannot divert the funds directed to be deposited to one account to another to the injury and damage of the depositor; but if the depositor suffers no injury by such diversion there can be no recovery.</p> <p>Where deposits intended for R.’s individual account are credited by the bank to an account kept by R. as chairman, but belonging individually to him and paid out to him as such chairman, he suffers no damage and can make no recovery.</p>
