Syllabus

<p>1. Statute of Limitations.—A legislative suspension of the statutes of limitation, will not enable one who was an infant before and during the period of such suspension, when the adverse possession began, and who was a femme covert when the operation of the statute was restored, to avoid the effect of limitation on account of such coverture. The purpose of article 12, section 43, of the constitution of 1869, was to prevent the suspended period from being taken into account in the computation of the time required by the statute to bar an action, and not to restore a disability already removed.</p>
