<p>The bonds of the town of Lansing, in the State of New York, issued to aid in the construction of the New York and Oswego Midland Railroad, having been put out without a.previous designation by the company of all the counties through which the extension authorized by the New-York act of 1871, c. 298, would pass, were issued without authority of law, and are invalid. 1</p>
