<p>1. Carriers. Compelling side passengers to leave berth. Negligence. Where a woman passenger who was ill and weak secured a ticket</p> <p>for a sleeping berth on defendant’s pullman car, convenient to a berth occupied by her physician and another occupied by her nurse, and was subsequently ordered by the conductor to take a berth in another car, which threw plaintiff into a highly nervous state rendering her extremely ill and she was permitted to retain her berth in the car by another voluntarily giving up his berth. In such case the defendant was liable in damages.</p> <p>2. Same.</p> <p>In such case a verdict for two thousand dollars was excessive and was ordered reduced to three hundred dollars.</p>
