Syllabus
<p>Indians — Lands—Allotments'—-Sale oe Lands — Statutes—Construction. Under the act of Congress authorizing a commission to sell lands allotted to the Puyallup Indians, and held by them under restrictions against alienation, the written consent to such a sale, required to be given by an allottee, is not revoked by his death, but finally authorizes a sale without further consent of heirs; especially as the Interior Department has so construed the law, and no reason exists for departing from such construction.</p>
