<p>Power of Attorney to Compromise an Action.—An attorney at law, merely by his retainer as such, has no power to compromise an action and consent to entry of a judgment in accordance with a stipulation, if his client, with the knowledge of the adverse attorney, objects to it, and such objection is brought to the attention of the court before the judgment is entered.</p>
