<p>In Philadelphia, registered taxes cease to be a lien, unless a scire facias is issued upon the claim filed therefor within five years from the first day of January next after they become due: Section 1, act of March 11, 1846, P. L. 114: unrepealed by § 2, act of April 21, 1858, P. L. 885.*</p>
