Syllabus

A child's biological mother appeals a decision of the Court of Appeals affirming a circuit court order granting a petition filed by the child's stepmother seeking to adopt the child without mother's consent. The lower courts found that mother's consent was not required pursuant to Code § 63.2-1202(H). The judgment of the Court of Appeals is affirmed.
