Syllabus
<p>Transfer of Corporation Stock—When Valid.—A transfer of stock of a corporation formed under the provisions of the Act entitled “ An Act to provide for the formation of corporations for certain purposes,” passed April 14th, 1854, which has not been entered on the books of the company, as provided in the statute, is nevertheless valid as against all the world except subsequent purchasers in good faith, without notice.</p>
