Syllabus

<p>Syllabus.</p> <p>A landlord who has commenced legal proceedings for the ejectment of his tenant, and before the termination thereof, enters upon the leased premises against the protests of the latter, and subsequently obtains his arrest and incarceration in jail upon a criminal charge, and without probable cause, is liable to both compensatory and punitory damages.</p>
