<p>1. Counties — Boundaries.</p> <p>The boundary line between Caddo and Red River is straight, and does not follow the meandering of Cannisnia Lake.</p> <p>2. Same.</p> <p>It is conceded that there was a mistake in the Legislature that passed Act No. 70, p. 108, of 1878 in matter of boundary.</p> <p>3. Same.</p> <p>Some of the “calls” cannot be followed.</p> <p>4. Same.</p> <p>The court construed the acts of the Legislature fixing the limit of Red River parish to mean to the thread of Bayou Pierre and to the center of other channels — i. e., from the lower Bayou Pierre on to Wallace’s Lake — and that the northern boundary follows the line between the two parishes as surveyed. The northern line of Red River parish is closed, and the survey of the surveyor for Red River is approved.</p> <p>(Syllabus by the Court.)</p>
